Your Mission

The Director of Corporate Communications will harness the power of thought leadership, public relations, and social media to drive brand awareness, drive engagement, and position SADA as a leader in cloud consultancy and technical services. In this role, you will establish the internal and external communications strategy and roadmap for how our corporate brand, products, and services are activated, while spearheading coverage across channel and business publications, analyst relationships, and emerging social channels and technologies. You will set a new standard on how to drive impact across various B2B, enterprise, and technology media channels.

We are looking for a talented senior-level Director to administer all public relations and social media initiatives, engage influencers, and drive conversations. You will be responsible for leading original content development, overseeing SADA’s podcast strategy and social content, working with video producers to create new content, managing editorial calendars, and expanding our brand reach. This position will require forward thinking to stay ahead of the curve in cloud computing and technology as well as to discover new social media tools and platforms to leverage. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of corporate communications (internal and external), B2B social media marketing, how to engage potential clients and influencers, and reporting and ROI assessment.

Successful candidates for this position must have technical acumen, be comfortable with developing content as needed, and able to work closely with the executive team and technical leads. As a member of the marketing team, you will be working closely with cross functional teams to effectively communicate products and services, run integrated campaigns, and share customer stories and various partner initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop corporate communication strategy across the organization for both internal and external messaging
  • Work with our PR agency to drive editorial coverage and brand awareness as well as develop a cadence of communications across channel and business publications, social media channels, and relevant industry mediums
  • Lead crisis communication as needed, ghostwrite speeches and talking points for senior management, provide strategic thinking about corporate interests, and develop plans for inspiring employee engagement
  • Establish metrics and measurement plans to monitor the effectiveness of corporate communications, leverage data and market research to predict budget needs, and provide proactive and reactive advice
  • Develop, create, and execute B2B social media strategies and engage industry influencers
  • Develop, execute, and optimize editorial calendar, social posts, and promoted social campaigns on numerous platforms: SADA Blog, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Cloud N Clear, etc.
  • Seek, investigate, and actively pursue innovative opportunities within tech communities, partners, and industry influencers to enable strategic POVs and opportunities for blogs
  • Establish and oversee strong social profiles for company and partner specific pages, as well as assist Executive Management/Sales in managing their pages for brand consistency
  • Research and cultivate content relevant to cloud computing, IT, and the technology industry.
  • Proactively monitor and make recommendations for responding to user generated messages, including during non-business hours
  • Run regular metrics and build out quarterly reports to showcase growth, engagement/traction, and ROI on campaigns

Expectations

Training – Ongoing with first-week orientation at HQ followed by a 90-day onboarding schedule. Details of the timeline can be shared. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all onboarding will be temporarily conducted remotely.

Job Requirements

Required Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (PR, advertising, marketing, communications, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of B2B social media strategy and execution expertise required (Tech industry preferred)
  • Professional portfolio of past and current social media pages managed, social campaigns and results, content created, and social media activities across multiple platforms
  • Must have excellent writing and proofreading skills, with focus on the details
  • Able to remain calm and work well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills along with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively
  • A deep understanding of and passion for analytics, with the ability to report KPIs to management
  • Ability to manage negative situations and effectively communicate resolution

Useful Qualifications:

  • Google G Suite/Workspace, Content Marketing, PR and SEO knowledge is a plus!
